Christmas Open House At the Gypsy Moon

My friend Brenda had her Christmas Open House at her store "The Gypsy Moon." She had so many wonderful displays. Her snowman heads are adorable! She`s making me one with a pink hat.

Brenda`s angel doorknobs are so unique. Who ever thought you could make an angel with door accessories? They are very artsy!

I always enjoy spending time with Brenda. She is really a fantastic person.
Afterwards, I went antique shopping at the local square.
More photos and finds tomorrow...........

New Friends and Bella Market.......

Colleen Gibson (On the right) was working hard on her project. She was such a lovely person. Thank you for letting me borrow your pliers...Oh, that`s right, I still have them! I`ll be ending them back to you.....
Both these girls were precious!

What a Sweet face! Laura Kaufman was my Little Sister. I just loved finally meeting her in person. Even more precious than a long distance friendship. I hope we get together again next year.

Sweetie pie Lulu Kellogg. How adorable is she? Who didn`t just love her to pieces? This incredible lady makes fantastic jewelry! (CoastalSisters.com). We instantly bonded and will be sisters for life!

Shelly Rollins. What a character! She has a heart of gold - never a dull moment with this gal! She made me an adorable barrette (wearing it in this photo) and I will always think of her when I wear it!

Suzanne Duda, Carol Spinsky, and Karla Nathan were so sweet to let me take a photo.
This was after the Caketini and I had a little hangover from sugar!
Great gals- I would love to spend more time getting to know them better....

Bella Market

To all of you who made Vending a success for me, I am truly thankful! You ALL were such a Blessing to me! I went into this not really knowing what to expect, but so glad I took a chance!
Until next year.....

Swaps, Workshop, And The Classes.....

Vintage Trims Swap: Three yards for ten women.
Over the top trims and presentations! I was thrilled.
Shawn Steet did an awesome job as Hostess. I love it all!

Vintage Millinery Swap:
Fifteen of us swapped millinery sprigs or flowers.
Heather Buhaj was our hostess.
Aren`t they just lovely? I love these too!

Thursday night after our welcome dinner, Theresa had a group workshop for us.
There was glitter galore!
Usually, I love glitter, but decided to change it up a bit and still stay with a pink theme.
I used a graphite pencil to edge and blend for an aged look. (a technique we used in Lisa Kraus`s class).
I love the results.

CLASS ONE: CHATALAINE WITH CHARLOTTE LYONS

CLASS TWO: THE GILDED CAGE WITH KERRY LYNN YEARY

CLASS THREE: THE JOY WITHIN WITH LISA KAUS

I stayed with my pink theme. I loved using the different mediums. Everyone finished with a different theme and work of art!

CLASS FOUR: PRIZE A LICIOUS WITH SALLY JEAN ALEXANDER

A very challenging class but I loved the results. I decided to have one side subtle and the other bold with color. I had to have PINK!
I love it!

CLASS FIVE: SECRET INSIDE THE BOTTLE WITH LISA KAUS

A secret message was written and hidden in my bottle.
We shared papers and ribbons and baubles at our table.
These images came from several books.
I love hanging my special necklaces on the hooks.

Next up: Vendor night and special friends...

Silver Bella: Got Wallpaper?

What a day in wallpaper heaven! My friend Karla Nathan was so sweet to invite me along with other Bella girls.

Hmmmmm. Is that Jessi in the background?? Too funny... I was tickled when I posted this photo. This was my roomie, Kana Conger. The BEST ever! How she put up with me for four days, I`ll never know!

Wallpaper framed art mirror. Who knew? Fabulous! Marilyn`s daughter, Hanna was the artist. Looks like a future project.

Karla Nathan and Suzanne Duda checking out soooo many beautiful papers!

Whew! What a day. Afterwards we went to Walnut Iowa to antique. I found a few treasures I`ll share tomorrow. Then it`s all about the fab event! More to come....

A Blessing........

As I`m leaving for Silver Bella today, this is the last view I`ll have leaving my driveway. What a blessing it is to know you`ll be coming back to a warm, cozy, and loving home. My mums have never looked this good before. The little things in life..... what a blessing!

I`ve Been Crowned!

About a month or so ago my friend Sue asked me if I would like some crowns she had in her stash. Of course I said sure and forgot about it....Until yesterday.
Sue took out a bag full of rhinestone crowns of all shapes and sizes. My Silver Bella heart jumped for joy! Bella girls love crowns. What a treasure!
Sue is such a precious friend. (Thank you Sue for sharing). I am so blessed with friends I adore. I can`t wait to meet new ones at Silver Bella. I`ll be leaving in Three days!
