Texas, Here I come!

Packing is one of my favorite thing to do. I know I`m going somewhere. My husband and I love to travel. Our friends live in Houston and we always have a blast. Bill and Gerri are taking us to Austin and then to Marburger Farms antique show. WOOOHOOO!! We are staying there with their friends, Dee and her husband. I hear Dee is planning an incredible weekend. I can hardly wait... Whenever there`s shopping involved, I am there. It`s been a year since we`ve seen our friends and I miss them so much. What a Blessing to have friends that are like family. Hopefully I`ll be able to post pictures when I get back. I better not forget my camera! (Does anyone else get so excited they forget theirs)??
I love Halloween. As I`ve gotten older I enjoy the whimsy of it all. My husband said the other day "It`s spooky in here." Photos coming soon.... Have a Blessed day and as my middle son Kacy says, "Seize The Day"
OOPS- today is my hubby`s birthday!! He is such a blessing in my life! I made appointments for pedicures before our trip. He absolutely loves them! It took me a few years to talk him into one but now there`s nothing more relaxing to him.

I`m not having much luck loading photos. I`m sure I`ll get the hang of it soon. I wonder if everyone else had troubles when they started. It`s still a good day. Fall is in the air and no more 90 degree temperatures, Yeah!!!

My First Blog

After blog hopping the last few years I never thought I would start one. I figured you`re never too old to try something new so here it goes...
If I didn`t have an insurance career, husband, three boys (men now), household duties, etc, I would be creating and altering art! There are soooo many creative women out there. I love to know that these women have busy lives too and find time to create art, something, anything.
I am going to be a vendor at an art retreat, Silver Bella. I`ve been collecting (hoarding) every type of vintage supplies. I`ll post some photos later tomorrow of some items I`ll have. What a Blessing to share the things I love with these wonderful women. Until tomorow.......
