A Lot Of Whimsy...A Little French.....

These sweet little vintage cracker jack Charlottes made great earrings along with vintage garnets from a rosary....

Vintage tophats from an old game make these standout along with fresh water pearls and vintage keys!

Who could resist vintage monopoly pieces? Pair them up with vintage rosary crystals and a little bling, and you are ready to go!

Ahhhh...my favorite! These vintage mother of pearl hearts with pearls and fleur de lis accents will make any outfit say Ooh La La! (My friend Jane bought the fleur de lis necklace for her shop)!

Still working in my studio when I can. I`m itching to do some canvas art and mix media creations. I`ll keep you updated. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments... I`m still having issues with Blogger. I`m not being able to leave comments. Just know I love my blog friends and all the encouragement you give me...It`s truly a Blessing!

Some Pink vintage velvets for Pink Saturday! I`m linking to Beverly`s blog. You`ll love it.....

Some creations....

Part of vending for Bella Rustica is creating and crafting all types of art. I find myself in my studio more often and I love it! You never know what will sell, so I make things I love. These are a few necklaces that will be traveling with me.

Up next is the whimiscal side of creating....I think you`ll like it.

Sweet Faces...

Every other month my friend, Jill and I swap art. This was the front and back of a sweet art journal she made me! I love sweet faces.....
The doll head was a purchase in Dallas. They all make me smile.

I hope you have a sweet face near you that makes you smile!

I am linking to Pink Saturday....Beverly`s blog is such eye candy!

Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye to friends that traveled a long distance to be with you and share in your passion for art is a hard thing to do. Even though I know I`ll see them again, I`m still having gal pal withdrawls *sob*....Ever happen to you??

Now I`m plotting and planning for a workshop next year! Intimate and small...that`s how I like it.

Talented friends....

What`s better than making art? Making art and sharing techniques with your friends. This was my second all day workshop and I had more fun than anyone! I love to see how everyone takes an idea and makes it their own....I have some amazing talented friends! We were missing two of my friends, Kathy and Sherry, I miss you!!
Here are a few pictures of gals hard at play.....

Of course a "Happy Hour" break gave everyone a chance to relax. I had homemade custard with a hand rolled chocolate mint cookie for everyone to enjoy. (Brenda made these too)! I tried to make them look like a refreshing drink!

My Favorite Things.......

Before my workshop started, my sweet friend LuLu came to spend some time with me and go treasure hunting! Whether it was TJ Max, Hobby Lobby, or the antique malls, we found treasures everywhere!
My favorite things are friends, family, and fun! I had all three when the workshop began.....
Here are some photos of before the event. (LuLu was spotted with some famous stars).....

I took LuLu to my favorite Tea Room. We had a wonderful lunch....then off to the antique mall and then later to Watertown to visit my sweet friend, Brenda Hawkins who catered dinner to all of us. She is a wonderful cook and very talented!

My friend, Sue, came a day early so we got to spend time in Brenda`s store and have lunch!

Here I am standing with with LuLu in Brenda`s store with Beula between us. She is a Katherine`s Collection life size doll.

How cute is LuLu standing with Minnie Pearl and Elvis???? They were props outside an antique mall in Lebanon, Tn.

Tomorrow I`ll share the girls crafing away and a wonderful "Happy Hour" dessert! Stay tuned.....

A Little Rosey....A Lot Of Rustic!

Back in April I met a sweet talented lady. Jane is so talented in displaying just about anything! She`s kind and warm and displays some of the most amazing antiques and vintage lovliness..... Here are some photos of her store, Roses And Rustics. See how wonderful her store is! If you`re in the Nolensville area stop and visit with her. She`s opened Thursday through Saturday.

You can see Jane and me through this mirrior. I love this display...

These old dress forms add an antique style. With the baby dresses and beautiful jewelry pieces, you can see why I love this place! Jane is starting a vintage wedding section! Just adding a little more style to her antique and vintage treasures.... Hope to see you there!

Pink From The Past...

This beautiful pink "shawl" is part of a 1910 bed cover I bought in LA while attending the Moulin Rouge event. Yes I took it apart to use the buttery soft pink silk and gorgeous lace on some future projects.
I just wanted to share this for Pink Saturday! Visit Beverly`s blog for more inspiration....
