Franklin Ky: Bright`s Antique World...

Oh how I love half dolls and brush dolls! An exciting collectable indeed! These were just a few cases I looked at...

This fence is coming home with me. Leave as is or paint it shabby white?

This vintage nightgown and half slip had that vintage elegance. Another favorite...

My goodness....what a beauty! This Victorian dress was worn by an elegant lady of wealth. It was exquisite. Made of silk, it was a joy to behold!

Bowlingreen Ky: The Store Next Door...

If you look closely, you`ll see wind chimes made out of forks and spoons. How clever!

This reminded me of a Victorian parlor. I can just see dainty ladies sipping tea on this sofa....

Dolls, dolls, and more dolls. I`ve been collecting dolls for years. They remind me of my childhood when I only had one. This is every little girl`s dream....

Thank you for going on this journey with me. There will be many more to come... Going to Antique shops and malls is one of my favorite things to do. I go somewhere every Friday, or try to! I`ve made many friends and have wonderful photos and fabulous finds that take me back to yesteryear.

  1. Hello there...thank-you so much for the visit. I see you love old stuff. I my self am more of a rust than a chrome kind of gal. If it's not dipped in coffee it's to new. Some beautiful treasures you have found here. Happy Tuesday to you.

  2. What a walk down memory lane! All the neat stuff...that doll case...YUMMY! I loved 'meeting' your mom and your works in progress look too fun. Can't wait to see all the finished yumminess! I am now a follower...can't wait to be updated.

  3. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the half dolls. I hope to get one when we go shopping! I don't have any antique shops anywhere near where I live so I have to live vicariously through your shopping!

  4. Fun pictures Kim! I love the Victorian gown. So very pretty. I want one! I love the half dolls too! Hope you're having a fun week and enjoying the new year! I sure am!
