I simply love German half dolls. You finds these sewn on pincushions or attached to clothes brushes. I have a few from Japan but they just don`t compare to these lovely faces! I can think of several craft ideas for them. But for now.....I`m enjoying their graceful beauty!
I love them too and have a small collection I and can't part with them! Hugs Marilou
ReplyDeleteHI KIM,
ReplyDeleteTHESE ARE BEAUTIFUL LADIES...I THINK TOO OFTEN EVERYONE GETS IN A HURRY TO MAKE THEM INTO SOMETHING INSTEAD OF JUST ENJOYING THEM.
I DO THINK YOU COULD MAKE ONE INTO A BEAUTIFUL TASSLE TO HANG FROM YOUR INSPIRATION BOARD IN YOUR STUDIO.
IT WILL SOON BE MONDAY AGAIN.

Hi Kim, I have a couple of these half dolls, they are standing with my little antique figurines. I love looking at all the little faces in my cabinet!

Hi Kim~
ReplyDeleteI just love these. I always seem to resist them when I see them for some reason. Guess I have to stop that now!! He He...LOL!

These are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you with wonderful ideas of what to do with them & then... I can't part with them. I have a shelf with some like these & some of the german porcelain doll heads that are so popular right now. Along with those treasures I did some "fairies in a jar". I just love the way they all look together so, I can understand you like yours just the way they are. Thanks for sharing & I can't wait to be with you & LuLu at Moulin Rouge in California! Soooooooooon! Charlene
