  2. Well, I would LOVE to win that darling shoe. I guess the sweetest Valentine I've ever gotten would have to be the marriage proposal from my husband. It was Valentine's Day 1996 and he took me to one of the nicest restaurants in town, told me how to dress, but not where we were going. We had dinner and dancing and then he popped down on one knee and took my hands in his and asked me to marry him. Needless to say, I cried a little and said a very enthusiastic "YES!".

Thanks for the chance to win,
    Judy

The sweetest Valentine I ever received was from my daddy every year as a little girl...he has difficulty telling us kids that he loves us but you just knew he did every year that sweet valentine and box of candy was waiting on us.

  18. My favorite was a box of candy given to me by my Daddy. I was in 3rd grade and lost the little decorated bag with my valentines, on the way home. After working hard all day he arrived to see me crying. After dinner he disappeared and returned with my first ever box of valentine candy. Hugs, Ginger

  20. Oh the sweetest Valentine I received was a ring from my husband. He's a jeweler and he made it for me by hand. It's 18kyg with a blue cabachon iolite. There are two hand carved hearts on each side. But the best part is that it came in a velvet rose box. The top looked just like a rose complete with a green stem. It was gorgeous! I love that ring!

  23. The sweetest valentine gift I ever received was from a brand-new boyfriend who worked in the same building as I--he came in early and left a single rose on my desk (I was SO hoping it was NOT from my recent ex-fiance!)& a simple card, asking for another date. That sweet guy & I have been married for almost 31 great years, and he's surprised me with beautiful jewelry, cards & gifts at other Valentines' Days, but that first one was still the best, and changed my life for the better!!!

  25. Kim, this is the first time I have visited your blog, and I am so glad I did. I have added myself as one of your followers, and I hope you will follow my blog, too. Debbie from Simply Debbie pointed me in your direction.

Your work is stunning, and I would love to win this gorgeous shoe. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win.

Debbie said you might be interested in participating in Pink Saturday. I hope you will decide to join us. It might be helpful to list your name as My First Pink Saturday the first week you participate. Other people make an extra effort to visit if they can tell you are new. It also helps to be near the top of the list. The list is available for linking beginning at 5 p.m. EST each Friday.

  36. Hi Kim, I found you from LuLu's blog. I was at Silver Bella, too! But I don't think we had a chance to hang out together. So, I'm following your blog now and I'll hang out with you that way! My best Valentine was this year -- I just received it the other day from a blog friend in Washington! I am going to blog about it this weekend with photos, so you can go see if you visit my blog in the next day or two. Thank you for the chance to win that gorgeous shoe!

  37. I found you through Simply Debbie, wonderful giveaway and I would love to win that cute shoe! Now I'm a follower! Will post about it tomorrow and place badge.. The sweetest valentine I ever received was from my oldest son after we lost his Dad, he compiled a bunch of family slides into a video and gave it to me as a memory of the beautiful legacy his Father left behind with a tribute to him, it was on VHS and I recently had it transferred to a DVD, my son is now a Dad himself and I'm blessed with 5 lovely Grandchildren. His Father was only 40 and would be very proud of this wonderful son of his. A Valentine can't get any better than that! Blessings and Hugs to you, Marilou Come visit sometime!
